With All that has been going around at Ewood Park for quite some time, the worst thing is the points tally! 10 points out of a possible 51. Blackburn Rovers seems doomed, but what bothers me is that one cannot really see light at the end of the tunnel; or maybe there is no real end to the drama unfolding at the Ewood Park.
Swansea win was seen as an uplift by the Rovers' manager, Kean, but it has been anything but that. Kean had labelled the last 6 premier league games as a vital period of this season, but out of those 18 possible points, all Rovers could accumulate was 4 points. Can it get any worse? Yes, the injuries have played a part in the position we are in, but then this is a 'get the points' world and Kean has done nothing to appease the fans and I guess, he never will.
Despite the manager's POOR-POOR record, the problem and fault lies elsewhere. This is anything but an easy guess for the Rovers faithful- VENKY'S. They have run the club extremely poorly, worse than what Kean has managed to. There's no doubt in Steve Kean's inability to lift the club up but Venky's have to show up. Its quite shameful that they have been approached by a sponsor of Rovers to help them communicate with the club fans! That's utter nonsense from their side.
They have never come out in public to support Steve Kean, the manager needs the owners backing in public. Right now, Steve Kean is multi-tasking at Rovers whilst his job is to manage the team. He flies to India over and over again to communicate with the owners., takes all the stick for some poor performances by the players, Press-Interviews to convey what Venky's say. Its bullshit! His job is to manage the team. There has to be a proper management set up, NOW! Not that I don't want Kean out, I definitely want him out, but first Venky's need to put in a proper management team set up.
They need to drag themselves into the situation at Rovers, and answer the fans about all they want to know. There has to be a little more transparency in the functioning of this, Once a greatly run club. They have to be more public, realistic and most importantly true to the faithful. They need to start putting things in place, NOW, it'd be too late come January end. It's just that Steve Kean is the most visible part of the problem, that he's getting the undeserved stick.
I hope Venky's understand the magnitude of this issue for people living in Blackburn, this club means their lives to them all, and they have got two ways-
1. ACT QUICK AND SMART. OR 2. QUIT!!! Any of these would be accepted.
KEEP THE FAITH!!!
